At MEDAZ Hospital, Patna, Bihar, we warmly welcome patient visitors, recognizing their vital role in boosting morale and supporting the speedy recovery of patients. However, to ensure a calm and infection-free environment, we request visitors to adhere to the following guidelines:

Visiting Hours

General and Private Ward:

  • Timings: 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
  • Visitors are allowed for 10-15 minutes to prevent overcrowding and maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
    Only one visitor is permitted at a time to avoid disruption in the ward.

ICU (Intensive Care Unit):

  • Timings: 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
  • Only one visitor is allowed at a time for 10-15 minutes, ensuring patient safety and reducing the risk of infection.

Important Visitor Guidelines

Minimising Infection Risks:

  • Visitors must wear isolation gowns, masks, gloves, and shoe covers before entering the ICU. These items are available at the ICU management desk.
  • Use hand sanitizer before entering any patient area.
  • Carrying eatables into the General Ward or ICU is strictly prohibited to avoid potential infections.

Visitor Etiquette:

  • Stay calm and quiet during your visit to maintain a healing environment.
  • Avoid visiting the patient if you are feeling unwell.
  • High morale is essential for patient recovery; be encouraging and supportive during your interaction.

Night time Attendance:

  • In the General Ward and Private Ward, only one attendant is permitted to stay overnight with the patient. Other relatives and friends may wait in the designated waiting hall.

Turn-Wise Visits:

  • To avoid overcrowding, attendants are requested to wait for their turn patiently in the designated waiting areas.
